Channel 7 is good to me on thursday, because it has my favourite show! Not My Name is Earl, not even family-of-four Amazing Race... I love How I Met Your Mother!
It is a genuinely fun american sitcom:)
I also love watchingBones, everyone needs one forensic police show.
hey, Vartley Gang, are you guys alright? 0% confirmation that you got there safely, i'm a bit worried. On the other hand, i've heard that europe is not very technologically advanced, so maybe they don't have the internet there...
Today was so similar to yesterday that i recommend you scroll down and re-read that post. **Insert - Camillo (one of the Work-for-the-Pension employees) did some high-wire palette manouvers with a forklift and everyone laughed at his incontinence incompetence. He damaged some Panettones. **Update - Omer's last exam went well... Work Radio Highlights - Nelly Furtado's Maneater ... Work Radio Lowlights - That bloody Feliz Navad! bullshit! song! Don't! download! this!!!
Omer's Exams: My packing desk is situated next to Omer's, near phone extension 305 in European Food's Dispatch Deptartment. He is studying accounting part time at Tafe and had one exam Monday Night, and the other tonight. He recieved a call today at work to inform him that he had passed the first one. He was pretty stoked.
Falling Tins of Oil: Claude noticed that a palette of Lupi Olive Oil (3L) was looking pretty unstable in the shelves above packing station 305. I was keen for the compo if one hit me, but we decided that the safest measure was to remove the palette. No compo.
Hi-Fi's Love Interest: Clare the receptionist got fired yesterday (apparently for speaking inappropriately to la familia), but not all news was bad. Her replacement - as the male population of EFW hoped - was Siany the 19 year old temp worker who covered clare recently when she was on leave. JB Hi-Fi (Brenton, Quinns, 18) loved her. He is stoked she's back.
Got Wet On Way to Work: there was a storm last night, and on my way to work today it pissed hard on me. Gina at the Re Store gave me a napkin to wipe clean my glasses. Omer gave me a royal blue dispatch shirt he had stored aside. I dried my wet shirt under the hand-dryer in the toilets. My hair had a fashionable "wet look".
Had a Garlic-Heavy Chicken & Avocado Roll: Pretty self explanatory. Bought chewies. Is it the blue or green packet you don't like, Liz?
Nearly Out of Petrol: Might go up to the servo tonight.
No Contact from the Vartley Mob: Hope they got to Holland (not to be confused with the Netherlands) safely.
Saw them off at airport: with Brendo, Janeo, Rom's family and Jacko. Hayley was there seeing Mike off.
Daylight Saving Sunday: Take note travellers, Perth will be 1hr ahead (GMT +7) as of next week.
Colm Back On With Kat: he got in a punch up with some guy who was macking kat on friday night, but its all back on track.
Tomorrow is Joey HC (Terrence J)'s 25th birthday, so today we hit up the Scarborough hills for some pizza and beaching. I heard it was 37 degrees today, so that was a good idea.
Last night Gene had a slamming show at his place in highgate, featuring the public return to Perth of Janeo. That was a good time too.
However, some sadder events occurred this weekend. Colm is sporting a black eye after a fight over pride, and Tom from Cheyanne apparently copped a beatdown from some Bunbury thugs. Coup and i had a fight over an ice-cream.
The Vartley Blog is going to implement the latest in secret coding, by using white text when they are going to write things they dont want their elderly, blog following relatives to read. To read the secret messages just highlight it with your mouse!
5 days of work, one whole day to play - come on everybody wear your rollerskates today!
Yep, it's saturday.
Today at european foods, many exciting and novel things happened:
Joe had a go at me for being "scruffy". He later revealed that he meant "have a shave". How un-masculine is that?
I collected some boxes for mel cause she's packing up her house, and gene came in to pick them up. "Was that gene?" asked Ross, vocalist of local metal outfit Layed to Rest. Yes it was!
I accidently left my book at Danielle's till, so no Bulgakov this weekend.
I bought a juice from the Re Store.
Currently i am at home. Here i will wash my clothes, my sheets, and myself. Then i will contemplate what time i will go to Gene's for his Housewarming/Farewell shin-dig.
Last night we went to the luna and saw Borat. That film was very daring. I enjoyed it.
We also ate pizza and wedges at the moon, and hung out at gene's for a bit.
Overall, today is hot and i am wanting a nap. But there are things on the agenda!
